One Water Facility Commissioning

This project includes the construction of a new two-story 63,770 SF administrative and operations building, a 30,530 SF warehouse and fabrication shop, a 2,990 SF Fueling Station and a 3,035 SF vehicle wash and raw materials bunkers for Charlotte Water Zone 4 Field Operations. RMF provided commissioning services including services to achieve LEED v4 Enhanced Commissioning. In addition to helping the project achieve the goal of LEED Silver, our commissioning services provided increased efficiency and overall project quality for the City. The new One Water Facility provides Charlotte Water with the ability to continue to provide services to the greater Charlotte area as the city grows at one the fastest rates in the country.

Commissioning services started during schematic design review and continued through the construction, turnover and warranty phase. The systems commissioned included:

• Electrical Power Distribution Systems
• Emergency Power Generation / Distribution Systems
• Lighting Control / Daylighting Control Systems
• Domestic Hot Water Systems
• Renewable Energy Systems (Geothermal, Solar, etc.)
• Building Enclosure Systems
