RMF Engineering, a leader in full-service MEP engineering, has moved into a larger office at 980 Hammond Drive, adjacent to the landmark King and Queen towers, to support its growing team. The new 8,156-square-foot space marks a significant milestone for the firm, reflecting the expansion of both its team and portfolio of work across the region. With this move, RMF reinforces its strategic investment in the Atlanta area, where demand for its services continues to increase.
“Atlanta is a key market for RMF, and this new space represents a deeper investment in the city and commitment to our partners and clients,” said Eric Nimer, PE, LEED AP, Atlanta Division Manager at RMF. “As an Atlanta native, I am proud of the growth we’ve seen over the years. It has positioned us to take on larger, more complex projects, particularly in healthcare and higher education, including work with my alma maters, Kennesaw State, Georgia Tech and University of Georgia. We’re looking forward to building on that momentum.”
RMF has partnered with additional higher education institutions across the state, such as Georgia Gwinnett College and University of North Georgia, providing a range of services. Most recently, RMF supported Georgia Gwinnett College with MEP building engineering, district energy, and thermal and electrical utility design services for its Gateway Center and campuswide infrastructure upgrades, providing the campus with a more reliable, energy efficient central utilities system comparable to larger Southeastern universities.
RMF is strategically focused on expanding its healthcare portfolio in Georgia, building on regional experience and a deep understanding of the sector’s evolving infrastructure needs. The firm has supported healthcare clients across the Southeast, including Advent Health, Atrium Health, Children's Hospital of Atlanta, Emory Healthcare, Northside Hospital and Novant Health.
“It’s been a privilege to support some of the state’s most respected institutions, and we’re excited to bring that same level of innovation and technical excellence as we engage more clients in the healthcare sector, helping them navigate the complexity of today’s healthcare environments,” said Dave Crutchfield, PE, Vice President and Member of RMF’s Board of Directors.
With this new office, RMF affirms its strong foundation and is well-positioned to extend its reach and strengthen its presence in the market.
