Camden Yards Renovation Commissioning

The Maryland Stadium Authority is undertaking a multiphase renovation of Oriole Park at Camden Yards, including upgrades to the club level, press facilities, suites, and control room, along with replacement of the main and auxiliary scoreboards, AV systems, IT network, and building automation infrastructure. The project also includes facility-wide replacement of aging mechanical and plumbing systems as identified in a facility condition assessment. Major systems include new air handling units, DOAS units, VRF systems, chiller and heating water plants, emergency power systems, and lighting controls.

RMF Engineering is providing comprehensive MEP and building enclosure commissioning services in accordance with ASHRAE and NIBS guidelines. Commissioning activities include design reviews, specification development, construction observation, startup verification, pre-functional and functional testing, system trending, and post-occupancy performance verification. RMF’s work ensures that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and envelope systems operate as intended to support the long-term functionality and maintainability of this iconic ballpark.
