RMF provided MEP engineering services for a 95,000 SF bed tower addition and 3,700 SF addition to the central utility plant.

RMF’s services included designs for all building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, as well as medical gas, general and isolation exhaust, fire protection, fire suppression and seismic bracing systems. Two custom central station air handling units serve the bed tower. Plumbing, medical gases and fire protection systems were extended from the main hospital to the new tower.

New equipment in the central utility plant includes a 1,000-ton variable speed centrifugal chiller, a 12,000 MBH output hot water boiler, and a 5 kV generator.
