RMF Continues Workforce Expansion, Adds Stephen Devon and Ronald Maylor

Baltimore, Md. – January 10, 2012 – RMF Engineering announced today the appointment of Stephen Devon, P.E., LEED A.P., CxA as principal and Ronald E. Maylor, P.E., LEED A.P. as project manager. Both Devon and Maylor, formerly with Schlenger/Pitz Associates, are electrical engineering experts with more than 50 years of combined experience. With the addition of Devon and Maylor, as well as several support staff over the past six months, RMF now employs more than 215 team members across eight U.S. offices.

Baltimore, Md. - October 24, 2011 - RMF Engineering today announced winning the Merit Award from the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP).  This AIA-CAE Excellence in Architecture award recognizes RMF's work for the $26 million restoration to transform Duke University’s East Campus into a state-of-the-art, natural gas-fueled steam plant that has since gained LEED Gold Certification from the US Green Building Council.

ASHRAE Awards RMF Engineering Building Energy Modeling Professional Certification

Charleston, SC – May 24, 2011– RMF Engineering has announced that Seth Spangler, PE, LEED AP BD+C, is now the first and only engineer in South Carolina who has earned the Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP) certification from the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).  This new certification adds to RMF’s growing list of credentials, having launched an in-house A/V-Telecommunications Group out of its Raleigh, NC office last month.
