Beth joined the firm and the electrical engineering team in 1992 in the Baltimore office. Her experience captures both institutional building and infrastructure projects. Her experience is in all phases of development including schematics, design development, A & E coordination, construction documents, construction administration, and commissioning. Beth has been responsible for medium and low voltage electrical distribution, standby power systems, interior and exterior lighting design with computerized calculations, fire alarm, and special systems design in new and renovated facilities. Beth’s projects are always designed and coordinated to every architectural detail and owner request from floor plans to specifications.
Beth worked exclusively on healthcare projects until a transfer in 2003 to the South Carolina office where she led the electrical team in projects while growing the office. Beth diversified her skills in South Carolina to cover electrical design for higher education and technical colleges, research laboratories, athletics, K -12, while continuing to master healthcare design. Beth gets satisfaction by providing customer service to her repeat and new clients. Beth also fulfills her role as a manager by training her employees to be the best engineers while leading a work/life balance.
Beth is a licensed professional engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from WV Wesleyan College as well as graduate work at Clemson University. She is a certified U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), and is an active member of The Society of Women Engineers.
